The ADC12130CIWM is a self-calibrating 12-bit plus sign analog-to-digital converter from Texas Instruments. It integrates a 2-channel multiplexer, sample/hold, and serial I/O interface compatible with MICROWIRE, SPI, and QSPI. The device uses a successive approximation register (SAR) architecture and achieves a maximum sampling rate of 114 kSPS.
Key electrical specifications include a 12-bit plus sign resolution with a maximum conversion time of 8.8 µs and throughput time of 14 µs. The integral linearity error is ±2 LSB maximum. The ADC operates from a single 3.3V or 5V ±10% power supply, with typical power consumption of 22.5 mW. It accepts an analog input voltage range of 0V to 5.5V with an external reference.
The device features a programmable acquisition time, variable digital output word length and format, and a power-down mode for reduced power consumption. No zero or full-scale adjustment is required. The ADC12130CIWM is available in a 16-SOIC surface-mount package with a 7.50 mm body width and operates over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
The analog and digital supply voltage range is 3V to 5.5V.
It is available in a 16-SOIC (0.295", 7.50mm width) surface-mount package.
-40°C to 85°C.
The device is listed as RoHS3 compliant, but this status is unverified and should be confirmed with the manufacturer.
