The ADC1061CIN/NOPB is a 10-bit Flash analog-to-digital converter from Texas Instruments, designed for high-speed data acquisition applications. It features a maximum conversion time of 1.8 µs, corresponding to a sampling rate of 555.555 kSPS. The device uses a modified half-flash architecture to achieve fast conversions while dissipating a maximum of 235 mW from a single 5V supply (4.5V to 5.5V range).
An internal track-and-hold circuit allows accurate digitization of input signals from DC to over 160 kHz without an external sample-and-hold. The parallel data interface simplifies microprocessor connection, making the ADC appear as a memory location or I/O port. The input is single-ended with one channel.
The ADC1061CIN/NOPB is housed in a 20-DIP (0.300", 7.62mm) through-hole package, suitable for breadboard prototyping and industrial environments. It operates over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. Typical applications include waveform digitizers, disk drives, digital signal processor front ends, and mobile telecommunications equipment.
