ADC101S101CIMFX/NOPB is a single-channel, 10-bit successive-approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converter from Texas Instruments. It samples analog signals at rates up to 1 MSPS with a single-ended input and supply-based voltage reference. The converter is specified over a sample-rate range of 500 ksps to 1 Msps and supports SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE, and DSP-compatible serial interfaces.
Operating from a single 2.7V to 5.25V supply, the device consumes typically 2 mW at 3V and 10 mW at 5V. An integrated power-down mode reduces power consumption to as low as 2.5 µW at 5V. It achieves a typical SNR of 62 dB and is packaged in a 6-lead SOT-23 or WSON package.
Designed for industrial temperature operation from -40°C to +85°C, this ADC is well suited for low-power, space-constrained designs in data acquisition and embedded control systems. The surface-mount SOT-23-6 package enables compact PCB layouts.
The device offers 10-bit resolution and a maximum sampling rate of 1 MSPS (1,000,000 samples per second).
It operates on a single supply from 2.7V to 5.25V, which applies to both analog and digital supplies.
The primary listed package is a 6-lead SOT-23 (supplier device package SOT-23-6); the manufacturer also offers a WSON package variant.
The device is specified for an industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
It supports SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE, and DSP-compatible serial interfaces.
Typical power consumption is 2 mW at a 3V supply and 10 mW at a 5V supply.
The existing database lists it as RoHS3 compliant, though this status has not yet been independently verified against a manufacturer document.
