The ADC101S101CIMF/NOPB is a low-power, single-channel 10-bit analog-to-digital converter from Texas Instruments. It uses a successive-approximation register (SAR) architecture with an internal track-and-hold circuit, achieving sampling rates up to 1 Msps. The device accepts a single-ended input and provides straight binary output data via a serial interface compatible with SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE, and DSP standards.
Operating from a single supply voltage between 2.7V and 5.25V, the ADC101S101 consumes only 2.0 mW at 3V and 10 mW at 5V. A power-down feature reduces consumption to as low as 2.5 µW, making it suitable for battery-powered applications. The converter is fully specified over a sample rate range of 500 ksps to 1 Msps.
The ADC101S101CIMF/NOPB is housed in a 6-lead SOT-23 surface-mount package, ideal for space-constrained designs. It operates over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
