The ADC101C021 is a low-power, monolithic, 10-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from Texas Instruments. It uses a successive approximation register (SAR) architecture with an internal track-and-hold circuit capable of handling input frequencies up to 11 MHz.
The device provides a maximum sampling rate of 188.9 kSPS and supports an I2C-compatible serial interface in standard (100 kHz), fast (400 kHz), and high-speed (3.4 MHz) modes. It operates from a single supply voltage of 2.7V to 5.5V, which also serves as the voltage reference.
The ADC101C021 includes an out-of-range alert function with programmable upper and lower limits. It features automatic power-down mode when not converting. The device is available in an 8-pin VSSOP package (DGK) and is rated for surface mount assembly.
