The ADC084S021CIMM is a low-power, four-channel CMOS 8-bit analog-to-digital converter from Texas Instruments. It uses a successive-approximation register (SAR) architecture with an internal track-and-hold circuit. The converter is fully specified over a sample rate range of 50 ksps to 200 ksps, and accepts up to four single-ended input signals.
The device operates from a single supply voltage of 2.7 V to 5.25 V. Typical power consumption is 1.6 mW at 3 V and 5.8 mW at 5 V. Performance includes a typical SNR of 49.6 dB, and typical DNL and INL of ±0.04 LSB. The output data is straight binary and compatible with SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE, and DSP serial interfaces.
The ADC084S021CIMM is offered in a 10-VSSOP surface-mount package (also described as 10-TFSOP, 10-MSOP). It operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. The reference type is supply-based, and the input voltage range is 0 V to the supply voltage.
The analog and digital supply voltage range is 2.7 V to 5.25 V.
It is available in a 10-VSSOP surface-mount package (10-TFSOP, 10-MSOP).
