ADAU7002ACBZ-R7 Description

Short technical summary and product information.

The ADAU7002 is a stereo PDM-to-I2S or TDM conversion IC that converts a stereo pulse density modulation (PDM) bit stream into pulse code modulation (PCM) audio data. The PCM audio data is output on a serial audio interface port in either I2S or TDM format. The device features a 64× decimation ratio and supports PDM clock rates from 64× to 512× the output sample rate. It operates with an I/O supply voltage ranging from 1.62 V to 3.6 V and offers automatic power-down with BCLK removal.

Output sample rate is adjustable from 4 kHz to 96 kHz. Typical operating current is 0.67 mA at 48 kHz and 1.8 V IOVDD, with shutdown current less than 1 μA. The ADAU7002 is specified over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. It is available in a halide-free, 8-ball, 1.56 mm × 0.76 mm, 0.4 mm pitch wafer level chip scale package (WLCSP) for space-constrained designs.
