The ADAU1701JSTZ-RL is a complete single-chip audio system from Analog Devices, part of the SigmaDSP family. It integrates a 28-/56-bit digital audio processor clocked at 50 MHz, along with two analog-to-digital converters and four digital-to-analog converters.
The ADCs achieve a typical SNR of 100 dB and THD+N of -83 dB, while the DACs deliver 104 dB SNR and -90 dB THD+N. The processor supports sampling rates up to 192 kHz and offers flexible serial audio interfaces including I2S, left-justified, right-justified, and TDM modes. Control is handled via I2C or SPI.
Housed in a 48-lead LQFP (7x7 mm) package with surface mount mounting, the device operates from a 3.3 V supply and is rated for 0°C to 70°C ambient temperature.
