The ADAS1000BSTZ is a low power, five-electrode electrocardiogram (ECG) analog front end from Analog Devices. It provides five acquisition channels and one driven lead, converting biopotential signals into digitized output. The device supports SPI, QSPI, and DSP serial interfaces and is available in a 64-lead LQFP package measuring 10 mm x 10 mm.
With 19-bit resolution, the front end is designed for ECG monitoring and diagnostic applications. It includes internal pace detection on three leads, ac and dc lead-off detection, and thoracic impedance measurement. Power dissipation is 11 mW with one lead, 15 mW with three leads, and 21 mW with all electrodes active.
The analog supply voltage range is 3.15 V to 5.5 V, and the digital supply range is 1.71 V to 1.89 V. The device uses surface mount mounting and is intended for applications such as bedside patient monitoring, portable telemetry, Holter monitors, automated external defibrillators, and stress testing systems.
