The AD9983AKCPZ-140 is a complete 8-bit, 140 MSPS monolithic analog interface designed for capturing YPbPr video and RGB graphics signals. It integrates three 8-bit analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) with a maximum sampling rate of 140 MSPS and a full power analog bandwidth of 300 MHz, supporting HDTV modes up to 1080i and 720p as well as graphics resolutions up to SXGA (1280 x 1024 at 75 Hz).
The device includes an on-chip PLL that generates a sample clock from tri-level sync (for video) or horizontal sync (for RGB graphics), with a frequency range of 10 MHz to 140 MHz. Additional features such as automatic gain matching, automatic offset adjustment, and a 2:1 input multiplexer enhance signal processing flexibility. The AD9983AKCPZ-140 operates from a 1.8 V analog supply and supports digital output voltages from 1.8 V to 3.3 V.
Packaged in a 64-lead LFCSP (9x9 mm with exposed pad) for surface mount assembly, the device is specified over a commercial temperature range of 0°C to 70°C. It is lead-free (Pb-free) and RoHS3 compliant, with moisture sensitivity level 1 (unlimited).
The supply voltage range is 1.7 V to 3.47 V for the digital output supply, with an analog supply of 1.8 V.
The ADC has 8-bit resolution with a maximum sampling rate of 140 MSPS.
The operating temperature range is 0°C to 70°C.
It is offered in a 64-LFCSP (9x9 mm with exposed pad) surface mount package.
The interface type is analog.
The full power bandwidth is 300 MHz.
It is listed as RoHS3 Compliant, but this data is unverified and should be confirmed with official sources.
