Designed for system cost and power efficiency, the AD9884AKS-100 includes an internal 1.25 V reference and a Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) to generate a pixel clock from the HSYNC signal. It operates on a 3.3 V power supply and has three-state CMOS outputs that can be powered by a supply between 2.5 V and 3.3 V. The device is programmable via a two-wire serial port.

 

This IC is fabricated in an advanced CMOS process and comes in a space-saving 128-lead MQFP surface mount plastic package. It is specified for an operating temperature range of 0°C to +70°C. Its applications include RGB graphics processing, LCD monitors and projectors, plasma display panels, and scan converters.
