AD9852AST

The AD9852AST is a complete Direct Digital Synthesis (DDS) IC from Analog Devices. It operates with a 200 MHz master clock frequency and features a 300 MHz internal clock rate, delivering 12-bit resolution with a 48-bit tuning word width. The device integrates dual 12-bit D/A converters and an ultrahigh-speed comparator with 3 ps rms jitter. It achieves excellent dynamic performance with 80 dB SFDR at 100 MHz (±1 MHz) AOUT. In clock generator mode, total jitter is less than 25 ps rms. The part includes a 4x to 20x programmable reference clock multiplier and supports multiple modulation schemes: FSK, BPSK, PSK, chirp, and AM. The AD9852AST is supplied in a surface-mount 80-LQFP package (14x14 mm) and operates over -40°C to +85°C with a 3.14V to 3.47V supply. RoHS compliance is listed as RoHS3 but unverified. The device is suitable for agile LO frequency synthesis, programmable clock generation, FM chirp sources, and test equipment.
