The AD9786BSV is a high-performance 16-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) from Analog Devices, part of the TxDAC+ family. It supports input data rates up to 200 MSPS and a DAC conversion rate of 500 MSPS. The device includes selectable 2x/4x/8x interpolation filters to ease reconstruction filter requirements and enable direct IF transmission.
Key specifications include a settling time of 2.9 ns, integral nonlinearity (INL) of ±0.6 LSB, and differential nonlinearity (DNL) of ±0.3 LSB. The DAC operates from a 3.1V to 3.5V analog supply, a 2.5V digital core supply, and a 3.3V digital interface supply. It features an internal 1.2V reference and a serial SPI interface.
The device is housed in an 80-lead TQFP exposed pad package (80-TQFP-EP 12x12mm) and is surface mount compatible. It operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The AD9786BSV is suitable for applications such as base stations, instrumentation, HDTV transmitters, and broadband wireless systems.
