The AD9775BSV is a 14-bit dual digital-to-analog converter from Analog Devices, part of the TxDAC+ family. It supports a maximum sampling rate of 400 MSPS and an input data rate of 160 MSPS. The device features a selectable 2x/4x/8x interpolation filter, digital quadrature modulation, and direct IF transmission mode for 70 MHz+ IFs. It includes an internal PLL clock multiplier and a versatile clock input compatible with differential/single-ended sine wave or TTL/CMOS/LVPECL signals.
The DAC achieves excellent AC performance with SFDR of -71 dBc from 2 MHz to 35 MHz and W-CDMA ACPR of -71 dB at 19.2 MHz IF. It operates from a single 3.3 V supply (3.1 V to 3.5 V) with typical power dissipation of 1.2 W. An on-chip 1.2 V reference is included. The device is programmable via an SPI interface and supports twos complement or straight binary data coding with dual-port or single-port interleaved input.
The AD9775BSV is housed in an 80-lead TQFP exposed pad package (80-TQFP-EP 12x12 mm) for surface mount assembly. It is designed for communications applications such as 3G, multicarrier GSM, TDMA, CDMA systems, broadband wireless, point-to-point microwave radios, and instrumentation/ATE.
