The AD9767AST is a 14-bit dual-port high-speed digital-to-analog converter from Analog Devices. It is part of the TxDAC+ family and supports update rates up to 125 MSPS. This CMOS DAC integrates two high-quality DAC cores, a voltage reference, and digital interface circuitry in a compact 48-lead LQFP package.
The AD9767AST offers excellent dynamic performance with a spurious-free dynamic range (SFDR) of 75 dBc to Nyquist for a 5 MHz output. It features a differential current output with a full-scale output current of 20 mA. The device operates from 3.3 V or 5 V supplies and typically dissipates 380 mW.
Designed for communications applications, the AD9767AST is ideal for base stations, digital synthesis, and quadrature modulation. Its dual-port interface allows independent data loading to each DAC, and a gain control mode supports single or independent resistor-based full-scale current setting. The device also includes a power-down mode reducing dissipation to 50 mW.
