The AD9765AST is a 12-bit, dual-channel, high-speed digital-to-analog converter (DAC) from the TxDAC+ family by Analog Devices. It supports a maximum update rate of 125 MSPS and delivers excellent dynamic performance with a typical SFDR of 75 dBc at a 5 MHz output frequency.
The device integrates two independent DAC cores, an on-chip 1.2 V voltage reference, and digital interface logic in a compact 48-lead LQFP package. It operates from either a 3.3 V or 5 V supply and typically dissipates 380 mW at 5 V. The parallel data interface supports dual-port or interleaved input modes.
This DAC is well-suited for communications applications such as base stations, digital synthesis, and quadrature modulation. The differential current output provides a nominal full-scale current of 20 mA.
