The AD9762ARUZ is a 12-bit resolution member of the TxDAC family of high-performance, low-power CMOS digital-to-analog converters (DACs) from Analog Devices. It supports update rates up to 125 MSPS and provides excellent spurious free dynamic range (SFDR) of 70 dBc at 5 MHz output. The device features differential current outputs with a programmable range of 2 mA to 20 mA, and includes an on-chip 1.20 V reference. Power dissipation is typically 175 mW at 5V supply and 45 mW at 3V supply, with a power-down mode reducing consumption to 25 mW at 5V. The DAC uses a current source architecture and parallel data interface. It is designed for communication transmit channels, including basestations, ADSL/HFC modems, and direct digital synthesis (DDS) applications. The device is available in a 28-lead TSSOP package (28-TSSOP) for surface mount assembly, operating over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
