The AD9754ARZ is a 14-bit resolution, wideband, second-generation member of the TxDAC series of high performance, low power CMOS digital-to-analog converters (DACs) from Analog Devices. It supports update rates up to 125 MSPS and offers exceptional spurious free dynamic range (SFDR) performance of 83 dBc at a 5 MHz output to Nyquist.
The DAC provides differential current outputs ranging from 2 mA to 20 mA and operates from a single analog supply of 4.5 V to 5.5 V. Power dissipation is typically 185 mW at 5 V, with a power-down mode reducing standby power to approximately 20 mW. An on-chip 1.20 V bandgap reference is included, and the digital interface is CMOS-compatible from 2.7 V to 5.5 V.
The device uses a segmented current source architecture and is housed in a 28-lead SOIC package for surface mount assembly. It is designed for wideband communication transmit channels, direct digital synthesis (DDS), and instrumentation applications.
The AD9754ARZ has a resolution of 14 bits.
The maximum update rate is 125 MSPS.
The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C.
The AD9754ARZ is available in a 28-SOIC (0.295", 7.50mm Width) surface mount package.
The typical power dissipation is 185 mW at 5 V.
Yes, it has an on-chip 1.20 V bandgap reference.
The output type is current, unbuffered, with differential current outputs.
