The AD9754ARU is a 14-bit resolution, 125 MSPS update rate digital-to-analog converter (DAC) from Analog Devices. It is part of the TxDAC family, optimized for communication transmit channels. The device provides differential current outputs with a full-scale range of 20 mA and achieves a spurious free dynamic range (SFDR) of 83 dBc at a 5 MHz output frequency. Power dissipation is typically 185 mW at 5 V supply, with a power-down mode reducing consumption to 20 mW. An on-chip 1.20 V bandgap reference is included. The digital interface is CMOS-compatible from 2.7 V to 5.5 V. The AD9754ARU is housed in a 28-lead TSSOP package for surface mount assembly. Typical applications include wideband communication transmit channels, direct IF, basestations, wireless local loop, digital radio link, direct digital synthesis (DDS), and instrumentation.
