AD9705BCPZ Description

Short technical summary and product information.

The AD9705BCPZ is a 10-bit resolution member of the TxDAC family of high-performance CMOS digital-to-analog converters from Analog Devices. It supports update rates up to 175 MSPS and is optimized for low power dissipation, consuming 12 mW at 80 MSPS with a 1.8 V supply and 50 mW at 175 MSPS with a 3.3 V supply.

This DAC provides a differential current output with an adjustable full-scale range of 1 mA to 5 mA. It includes an on-chip 1.0 V bandgap reference and supports both external and internal reference modes. The digital interface is CMOS-compatible and operates at 1.8 V or 3.3 V logic levels. A power-down mode reduces dissipation to less than 2 mW.

The device is housed in a compact 32-lead LFCSP package with an exposed pad for thermal management. It operates over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The AD9705BCPZ is suitable for communication system transmit signal paths and other high-speed waveform generation applications.
