The AD9289BBC is a quad 8-bit, 65 MSPS analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from Analog Devices. It integrates four pipelined ADCs in a single package, each with differential inputs and serial LVDS data output. The device achieves a typical signal-to-noise ratio of 48 dBc at Nyquist input and offers excellent linearity with DNL of ±0.2 LSB and INL of ±0.25 LSB.
The ADC operates from a 2.7V to 3.3V supply and dissipates only 112 mW per channel at 65 MSPS. It features a 300 MHz full power analog bandwidth and supports an input voltage range of 1 Vp-p to 2 Vp-p. The serial LVDS interface supports data rates up to 520 Mbps, with data and frame clock outputs for easy timing alignment.
The AD9289BBC is housed in a 64-CSPBGA (8x8 mm) surface-mount package and operates over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. It is suitable for multi-channel data acquisition systems such as tape drives and medical imaging equipment where high speed, low power, and small size are critical.
