The AD9283BRSZ-RL100 is an 8-bit monolithic sampling analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from Analog Devices, using a pipelined architecture to achieve a 100 MSPS conversion rate. It operates from a single 2.7V to 3.6V supply and consumes only 90 mW typical at 100 MSPS, with a power-down mode reducing consumption to 4.2 mW.
The ADC includes an internal reference voltage and track-and-hold circuit, simplifying system design. It supports both differential and single-ended inputs with an input voltage range of ±512 mV. The analog bandwidth is 475 MHz, and the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is 46.5 dB at 41 MHz input frequency. Typical differential nonlinearity (DNL) is ±0.5 LSB, and integral nonlinearity (INL) is ±0.75 LSB.
The device is housed in a 20-lead SSOP surface-mount package, making it suitable for space-constrained applications. It is designed for battery-powered instruments, handheld scopemeters, and low-cost digital oscilloscopes.
