AD9260AS

The AD9260AS from Analog Devices is a monolithic 16-bit, oversampled analog-to-digital converter (ADC) manufactured on an advanced CMOS process. It provides exceptional dynamic range over a wide bandwidth, achieving high dynamic range through an 8x oversampling ratio using a proprietary technique combining sigma-delta and pipeline converter technologies.

Key electrical specifications include a 2.5 MHz output word rate, a 1.01 MHz signal passband with 0.004 dB ripple, a signal-to-noise ratio of 88.5 dB, total harmonic distortion of -96 dB, and a spurious-free dynamic range of 100 dB. It supports selectable oversampling ratios from 1x to 8x and operates with a single 5V analog supply and a 5V/3V digital supply.

The device features a switched-capacitor architecture with a nominal full-scale input range of 4V and differential inputs with 60 dB common-mode rejection. The on-chip decimation filter provides 8x decimation with 85 dB stop-band attenuation. The AD9260AS is available in a 44-lead MQFP package and supports parallel data interface.
