The AD9241ASZ is a complete 14-bit, 1.25 MSPS monolithic analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from Analog Devices. It integrates an on-chip sample-and-hold amplifier and voltage reference, requiring only a single +5V supply. The pipelined architecture achieves a typical signal-to-noise and distortion ratio (SINAD) of 78 dB and spurious-free dynamic range (SFDR) of 88 dB. Integral nonlinearity (INL) is 2.5 LSB and differential nonlinearity (DNL) is 0.6 LSB. Input referred noise is 0.36 LSB.
This ADC supports both differential and single-ended input configurations, providing flexibility for various application needs. The parallel data interface ensures straightforward connection to microcontrollers or DSPs. The device operates over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C and is housed in a compact 44-pin MQFP (10mm x 10mm) package suitable for surface-mount assembly. Power dissipation is only 60 mW, making it suitable for power-sensitive designs.
