The AD9238BSTZ-20 is a dual 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from Analog Devices, designed for high-speed data acquisition applications. It operates at a sampling rate of 20 MSPS and features a pipelined architecture that ensures 12-bit accuracy with no missing codes over the full operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. The device supports both differential and single-ended input types, with a flexible analog input range. It includes an integrated voltage reference and a sample-and-hold amplifier (SHA) with a 1:1 ratio. The ADC uses a parallel data interface and operates from a supply voltage of 2.25V to 3.6V. It is housed in a 64-LQFP surface-mount package (7x7 mm). The AD9238BSTZ-20 is suitable for applications such as ultrasound equipment, direct conversion receivers, battery-powered instruments, and low-cost digital oscilloscopes. Its dual-channel capability and simultaneous sampling feature make it ideal for systems requiring two synchronized ADC channels.
