The AD9219ABCPZ-40 is a quad, 10-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with an on-chip sample-and-hold circuit from Analog Devices. It operates at a conversion rate of 40 MSPS and is designed for low power, small size, and ease of use.
The ADC integrates four ADCs in one package, with each channel consuming 94 mW at 65 MSPS. The device features serial LVDS (ANSI-644 default) data output with data and frame clock outputs. Key dynamic performance includes SNR of 60 dB (to Nyquist), ENOB of 9.7 bits, and SFDR of 78 dBc (to Nyquist).
The ADC operates from a 1.8 V supply and has a 2 V p-p input voltage range. It supports full-chip and individual-channel power-down modes, programmable clock and data alignment, and built-in and custom digital test pattern generation. The device is housed in a 48-lead LFCSP package for surface mount assembly.
Applications include medical imaging, portable ultrasound, quadrature radio receivers, diversity radio receivers, tape drives, optical networking, and test equipment.
