AD9218BSTZ-65

The AD9218BSTZ-65 from Analog Devices is a dual 10-bit monolithic sampling analog-to-digital converter (ADC) designed for high-performance applications. It supports conversion rates up to 65 MSPS per channel, with options for 40, 65, 80, and 105 MSPS available in the AD9218 family.

This ADC operates from a single 3.0 V supply (2.7 V to 3.6 V) and requires only a clock for full operation, simplifying system design. It features on-chip reference and track-and-hold circuits, along with a 300 MHz analog bandwidth per channel. The device offers a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of 57 dB at 41 MHz with an 80 MSPS encode rate and exhibits low crosstalk of -75 dBc between channels.

Designed for ease of use and low power consumption, the AD9218BSTZ-65 is fabricated using an advanced CMOS process. It is available in a 48-lead low-profile quad flat package (LQFP) measuring 7 mm x 7 mm, suitable for surface mounting. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C, making it suitable for various industrial applications.

Key features include simultaneous sampling, a pipelined architecture, and internal reference. The digital outputs are TTL/CMOS compatible, and a separate output power supply pin supports interfacing with 3.3 V or 2.5 V logic.
