The AD9215BCPZ-80 is a 10-bit, 80 MSPS analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from the AD9215 family by Analog Devices. It features a pipelined architecture with a sample-and-hold amplifier (SHA) and internal voltage reference, operating from a single 3 V supply (2.7 V to 3.3 V for digital, 2.25 V to 3.6 V for analog). The ADC accepts differential or single-ended inputs with a flexible 1 V p-p to 2 V p-p range and provides parallel data output.
This device delivers a typical signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of 58 dBc and spurious-free dynamic range (SFDR) of 77 dBc measured to Nyquist. Typical power dissipation is 104 mW at 80 MSPS. The compact 32-lead LFCSP-WQ (5x5 mm) package supports surface-mount assembly, and the part is rated for operation from -40°C to +85°C. The AD9215BCPZ-80 is suitable for applications such as ultrasound equipment, IF sampling receivers, battery-powered instruments, and portable oscilloscopes.
The AD9215BCPZ-80 has a resolution of 10 bits.
The maximum sampling rate is 80 MSPS (mega-samples per second).
The AD9215BCPZ-80 is supplied in a 32-lead LFCSP-WQ package (32-LFCSP-WQ (5x5)) and also specified as 32-WFQFN Exposed Pad, CSP.
The operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C.
Typical power dissipation is 104 mW at 80 MSPS.
The data interface is parallel.
The typical signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is 58 dBc measured to Nyquist.
