The AD9214BRS-80 is a 10-bit monolithic sampling analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from Analog Devices, featuring a pipelined architecture and an on-chip track-and-hold circuit. It operates at a maximum conversion rate of 80 Msps with a typical signal-to-noise ratio of 57 dB at 39 MHz input. The device supports both differential and single-ended input configurations, with an analog bandwidth of 300 MHz and selectable input voltage ranges of 1 V p-p or 2 V p-p.
It requires a single 3.3V supply (2.7V to 3.6V) and includes an internal reference, eliminating the need for external components. The digital outputs are TTL/CMOS compatible, and the output data format can be configured as twos complement or offset binary. A power-down mode reduces consumption to 30 mW.
Packaged in a 28-lead SSOP surface mount package, the AD9214BRS-80 operates over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. It is designed for use in battery-powered instruments, handheld scopemeters, low-cost oscilloscopes, ultrasound equipment, and broadband wireless applications.
