The AD9212BCPZ-65 is a high-performance octal, 10-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from Analog Devices, designed for low-power, small-form-factor applications such as medical imaging, portable ultrasound, and communication receivers. It achieves a maximum sampling rate of 65 MSPS while consuming only 100 mW per channel, making it ideal for multi-channel systems.
The device integrates eight 10-bit ADCs with a pipelined architecture, offering excellent dynamic performance including 60.8 dB SNR, 9.8-bit ENOB, and 80 dBc SFDR. It features a serial LVDS data output with programmable clock and data alignment, and a SPI control interface for configuration. The input range is 2 V p-p differential, and the device operates from a single 1.8 V supply.
The AD9212BCPZ-65 is packaged in a compact 64-lead LFCSP (9x9 mm) with an exposed pad for thermal management. It operates over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. The device includes built-in digital test patterns and power-down modes for system optimization.
