The AD9203ARUZRL7 is a 10-bit, 40 MSPS analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from Analog Devices. It uses a multistage differential pipeline architecture and guarantees no missing codes over the full operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. The ADC operates from a single 2.7V to 3.6V supply and features a typical power dissipation of 74 mW at 40 MSPS, which can be reduced to 17 mW at 5 MSPS and 0.65 mW in standby mode.
The input range is adjustable between 1 V and 2 V p-p, supporting both differential and single-ended inputs. The device includes an on-chip programmable voltage reference, with the option to use an external reference. It achieves an ENOB of 9.55 bits at a 20 MHz input frequency and has a differential nonlinearity of -0.25 LSB typical.
The AD9203ARUZRL7 is suitable for applications such as CCD imaging, video, portable instrumentation, IF and baseband communications, cable modems, and medical ultrasound. It is available in a 28-lead TSSOP package for surface mount assembly. The device is supplied in tape and reel packaging.
