The AD9066JR-REEL is a dual 6-bit flash analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from Analog Devices, designed for high-speed I/Q demodulation applications. It samples at 60 MSPS with a parallel digital output interface. The device integrates two matched ADCs on a single chip and includes an internal voltage reference, enabling self-biased ac-coupled inputs.
The ADC operates from an analog supply of 3.7 V to 4.2 V and a digital supply of 4.75 V to 5.25 V, with typical power dissipation of 400 mW. It is rated for the commercial temperature range of 0°C to 70°C. The part is available in a 28-SOIC (7.50 mm width) surface mount package with gull-wing leads, supplied in tape and reel packaging.
Primary applications include digital direct broadcast satellite receivers and quadrature phase shift keying (QPSK) demodulators. The AD9066JR-REEL is an obsolete product; for industrial temperature range requirements, consider the AD9066AR-REEL variant.
