The AD9027AD is a 12-bit Flash analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from Analog Devices / Maxim Integrated, designed for high-speed conversion applications. It achieves a sampling rate of 25.6 MSPS and uses a Flash architecture for low latency. The device accepts a single-ended input and includes an internal reference, simplifying external circuit design.
It contains three converters arranged in a 3:3 S/H-ADC ratio, allowing parallel processing. The supply voltage is dual: -4.95V to -5.45V and 4.75V to 5.25V. The AD9027AD is housed in a 28-lead CDIP (0.600", 15.24mm) through-hole package, suitable for prototyping and rugged environments. The operating temperature range is -25°C to 85°C.
Typical applications include high-speed data acquisition, radar, communications, medical imaging, and industrial instrumentation requiring fast analog-to-digital conversion.
