The AD8403ARZ50 is a quad-channel, 256-position digitally controlled variable resistor (VR) device from Analog Devices. It replaces four mechanical potentiometers or variable resistors with a single integrated circuit. Each of the four independent channels has a 50 kOhm fixed resistor with a wiper contact that taps the resistor value at a point determined by the digital code loaded into the controlling serial input register.
