The AD8403ARZ100 is a quad-channel, 256-position digitally controlled variable resistor (VR) from Analog Devices. It features four independent variable resistors with a linear taper, each offering 100 kOhm end-to-end resistance. The wiper position is set via a 3-wire SPI-compatible serial interface supporting clock rates up to 10 MHz. Operating from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply, the device also includes a power shutdown mode that reduces supply current to less than 5 microamps. The AD8403ARZ100 is intended as a replacement for mechanical potentiometers in applications such as programmable filters, volume control, and power supply adjustment. It is packaged in a 24-SOIC (0.295", 7.50mm Width) surface-mount package with a standard operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
