The AD8403ARUZ1 from Analog Devices is a quad-channel, 256-position digital potentiometer that replaces four mechanical potentiometers or variable resistors.
It features a linear taper, 1kΩ end-to-end resistance, and a 3-wire SPI-compatible serial interface supporting a 10 MHz update data loading rate. The device operates from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply and draws less than 5 μA in shutdown mode.
Quad-independent variable resistors with a wiper contact that linearly divides the fixed resistance based on the digital code loaded into the serial input register. Channel-to-channel matching is ±1%.
Housed in a 24-lead TSSOP surface-mount package, the AD8403ARUZ1 is qualified for automotive applications and rated for an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
The end-to-end resistance is 1 kΩ with a linear taper.
Each channel has 256 tap positions.
The device operates from 2.7 V to 5.5 V single supply.
-40°C to +125°C, automotive qualified.
3-wire SPI-compatible serial data input.
24-TSSOP (0.173", 4.40mm Width), surface-mount.
Listed as RoHS3 Compliant, but unverified.
