The AD8361ARMZ-REEL7 from Analog Devices is a TruPwr™ Detector designed for use in high-frequency receiver and transmitter signal chains, operating up to 2.5 GHz. This device provides a calibrated RMS response with excellent temperature stability and a linear response up to 2.5 GHz with ±0.25 dB accuracy.
It features a wide input range of 0 to 700mV and operates on a single supply voltage from 2.7V to 5.5V. The detector consumes low power, drawing only 1.1 mA, and offers a rapid power-down mode to less than 1 µA. The output is a linear-responding DC voltage with a conversion gain of 7.5 V/Vrms.
This component is particularly useful for measuring complex modulation waveforms such as CDMA and W-CDMA, and high crest-factor signals. It is available in an 8-MSOP surface mount package, suitable for various RF applications.
