The AD8328ARQZ is a low cost, single-channel upstream cable line driver from Analog Devices. It operates from a 5V supply (4.75V to 5.25V) and is designed for DOCSIS and EuroDOCSIS reverse path transmission systems.
Gain is digitally programmable in 1 dB steps over a 59 dB range via an 8-bit serial word. The device offers a typical voltage gain of 32.5 dB and a unity gain bandwidth of 107 MHz. It maintains a 300 Ω differential output impedance in both Tx-enable and Tx-disable states.
The driver accepts both differential and single-ended inputs, with input impedances of 1.6 kΩ and 800 Ω respectively. Spurious-free dynamic range (SFDR) is -57.5 dBc at 21 MHz and -54 dBc at 65 MHz (60 dBmV output, max gain). Maximum power dissipation is 700 mW.
The part is housed in a 20-lead QSOP (20-QSOP) surface mount package and operates over -40°C to +85°C. It is supplied in tape and reel packaging and is claimed RoHS and REACH compliant.
The supply voltage is 4.75 V minimum, 5 V typical, and 5.25 V maximum.
It is available in a 20-QSOP surface-mount package (also described as 20-SSOP with 0.154" width).
The operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C.
It offers a gain range of 59 dB, digitally programmable in 1 dB steps.
The -3 dB bandwidth is 107 MHz at full gain range.
