The AD8215YRZ-R7 is a high voltage, precision current shunt monitor manufactured by Analog Devices. It features a set gain of 20 V/V with a maximum accuracy of ±0.15% over its operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. The device supports a high common-mode voltage range from -2 V to +65 V, making it suitable for high-side current sensing applications.
With excellent AC and DC performance, including a typical offset drift of 6 μV/°C and a typical gain drift of -8 ppm/°C, the AD8215YRZ-R7 ensures reliable measurements. It boasts a typical CMRR of 120 dB at DC, independent of the 5V supply. The buffered output voltage directly interfaces with typical converters.
This current monitor is designed for unidirectional current measurements across a shunt resistor. Its output linearity is maintained throughout the input differential voltage range, regardless of the common-mode voltage. The AD8215YRZ-R7 is supplied in a compact 8-lead SOIC package, suitable for surface mount applications.
Qualified for automotive applications, the AD8215YRZ-R7 is ideal for use in motor controls, transmission controls, engine management systems, suspension controls, vehicle dynamic controls, and DC to DC converters.
