AD8183ARU

The AD8183ARU is a high-speed triple 2:1 multiplexer designed for video and RGB switching applications. It offers a -3 dB bandwidth of 380 MHz at 200 mV p-p and 310 MHz at 2 V p-p, with a slew rate of 1000 V/µs (G=+1) and 1150 V/µs (G=+2). The device features fast channel-to-channel switching time of 15 ns and low crosstalk of -56 dB at 100 MHz. Off isolation is -100 dB at 10 MHz, and differential gain and phase errors are 0.01% and 0.02° respectively. Gain flatness is 0.1 dB to 90 MHz.

The multiplexer includes a high speed output disable feature that sets the output to a high impedance state, allowing multiple devices to be connected without loading. It operates on ±5 V supplies and consumes only 25 mA typical supply current. The AD8183ARU is housed in a 24-TSSOP (0.173", 4.40mm Width) surface mount package, suitable for compact designs. Applications include pixel switching for picture-in-picture, RGB switching in LCD and plasma displays, and RGB video switchers and routers.
