The AD8170AR is a high-speed buffered multiplexer integrating a current feedback output amplifier whose gain is programmable via external resistors. It offers a -3 dB signal bandwidth of 250 MHz at a gain of +2 and a slew rate exceeding 1000 V/µs. The device achieves a fast settling time of 15 ns to 0.1% and can deliver up to 50 mA of output current.
Designed for video and fast switching applications, the AD8170AR provides excellent video specifications: 0.1 dB gain flatness beyond 80 MHz, 0.02% differential gain error, and 0.05° differential phase error. Low crosstalk of -78 dB at 5 MHz ensures signal integrity in multiplexed systems. The part operates from a ±4 V to ±6 V supply and draws less than 10 mA of supply current.
The device is housed in a surface-mount 8-SOIC package with standard 0.154" width and 3.90 mm body width. It is suitable for pixel switching in picture-in-picture displays, video routers, and other high-speed multiplexing tasks.
The supply voltage range is ±4V to ±6V.
The AD8170AR is available in an 8-SOIC (0.154", 3.90mm Width) surface mount package.
The AD8170AR is listed as RoHS3 compliant (unverified).
