The AD8145YCPZ-R7 is a triple, low cost differential-to-single-ended receiver specifically designed for receiving RGB video signals over twisted pair cable or differential PCB traces. It can also be used to receive any type of analog signal or high speed data transmission.
Key electrical specifications include a typical bandwidth of 500 MHz at G=1, slew rate of 2000 V/µs, common-mode rejection ratio of 69 dB at 10 MHz, and differential input impedance of 1 MΩ. The input noise voltage density is 13 nV/√Hz and settling time to 0.1% is 15 ns. The device operates from a wide supply voltage range of 4.5V to 24V and over an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +105°C.
The AD8145 incorporates two auxiliary comparators with 18 mV hysteresis for decoding video sync signals or receiving digital signals. The on-chip gain setting resistors allow configuration for a gain of 1 or 2. A disable feature (DIS/PD pin) is included for power saving.
Packaged in a 32-lead LFCSP (5x5 mm) with exposed pad for surface mount assembly, the AD8145 is qualified for automotive applications (AD8145W variant) and is suitable for KVM, RGB and YPbPr video receivers, and UTP receivers.
