The AD7923BRUZ-REEL is a 12-bit, high speed, low power, 4-channel successive approximation (SAR) analog-to-digital converter from Analog Devices. It operates from a single 2.7 V to 5.25 V power supply and features a maximum throughput rate of 200 kSPS. The device includes a low noise, wide bandwidth track-and-hold amplifier that can handle input frequencies in excess of 8 MHz.
The ADC uses an external reference and supports single-ended inputs via an internal multiplexer and sample-and-hold circuit in a 1:1 configuration. Power dissipation is low at 3.6 mW (max) with a 3 V supply and 7.5 mW (max) with a 5 V supply, both at 200 kSPS. The shutdown current is only 0.5 µA max.
The digital interface is SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE, and DSP compatible, allowing easy connection to microprocessors or DSPs. The device is housed in a 16-lead TSSOP package and is specified over the -40°C to +125°C temperature range.
