The AD7898AR-10 is a fast 12-bit analog-to-digital converter manufactured by Analog Devices. It uses a successive approximation register (SAR) architecture and achieves a throughput rate of 220 kSPS. The device operates from a single 5 V supply with a maximum power dissipation of 22.5 mW.
The ADC features a single-ended input with a ±10 V range and an on-chip track-and-hold amplifier. Data is transferred via a 3-wire SPI-compatible serial interface. The part is configured as a single S/H-ADC with a 1:1 ratio.
The AD7898AR-10 is housed in an 8-lead SOIC surface-mount package with a gull wing termination style and 1.27 mm lead spacing. It operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
