The AD7892BRZ-3REEL is a high-speed, low-power 12-bit analog-to-digital converter from Analog Devices. It employs a successive approximation register (SAR) architecture and operates from a single +5 V supply. The device features a maximum sampling rate of 600 kSPS, with a typical conversion time of 1.47 µs and a track/hold acquisition time of 200 ns.
The ADC accepts a ±2.5 V analog input range and includes an internal +2.5 V reference. It supports both SPI and parallel data interfaces, offering flexibility for connection to microprocessors, microcontrollers, and DSPs. The converter is configured as a single S/H-ADC with a 1:1 ratio.
The part is housed in a 24-SOIC (0.295", 7.50mm Width) surface-mount package with gull wing terminations. It is specified for operation over the -40°C to +85°C temperature range. Typical power dissipation is 60 mW, making it suitable for low-power and portable applications.
