The AD7892AR-2 is a 12-bit successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converter from Analog Devices. It operates from a single 5 V supply and features a 1.47 µs conversion time with a 200 ns track/hold acquisition time, enabling a throughput rate of 500 kSPS. The device accepts a single-ended analog input range of 0 V to 2.5 V and supports both external and internal voltage reference. Data output is available via SPI serial or 12-bit parallel interface. The ADC includes an on-chip track/hold amplifier and is fabricated in Analog Devices' LC2MOS process for low power consumption, typically 60 mW. It is housed in a 24-lead SOIC wide-body package with a surface mount design. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C, suitable for industrial environments.
