The AD7875KN is a 12-bit successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converter (ADC) manufactured by Analog Devices. It is part of the AD7870/AD7875/AD7876 family and offers a complete monolithic solution including a track-and-hold amplifier, internal clock, and buried Zener reference. The device operates with a dual ±5V supply and provides a sampling rate of 100 kSPS. It achieves a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of 72 dB at 10 kHz input frequency. The ADC accepts a single-ended input voltage range of 0 V to 5 V. Digital data is output via SPI or parallel interface with 57 ns data access time. The converter is housed in a 24-pin PDIP (0.300" width) package for through-hole mounting. It is specified for the commercial temperature range of 0°C to 70°C. The on-chip reference eliminates the need for external reference components, simplifying design. The laser-trimmed clock ensures accurate conversion timing without external components. The AD7875KN is suitable for industrial and instrumentation applications requiring precise analog-to-digital conversion with moderate speed.
