The AD7874AR is a four-channel, 12-bit simultaneous sampling data acquisition system (DAS) from Analog Devices. It integrates a high-speed 12-bit ADC, an on-chip reference, an internal clock, and four track/hold amplifiers. This architecture allows all four input channels to be sampled simultaneously, preserving the relative phase information between channels, which is critical for applications such as phased-array sonar and AC motor controllers. The part features a 116 kSPS sampling rate, a conversion time of 8 µs per channel, and a track/hold acquisition time of 2 µs. The input voltage range is ±10 V. The AD7874AR operates from dual ±5 V supplies and is specified over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. It is available in a surface-mount 28-SOIC (0.295", 7.50 mm width) package and uses a parallel data interface for easy connection to microprocessors and DSPs.
