The AD7814ART-REEL7 from Analog Devices is a complete temperature monitoring system integrated into a compact SOT-23-6 package. This device features a 10-bit Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) coupled with an on-chip band gap temperature sensor, providing accurate ambient temperature measurements with a resolution of 0.25°C.
Designed for flexibility, the AD7814ART-REEL7 includes an SPI-compatible serial interface, allowing for easy integration with most microcontrollers and DSPs. It supports SPI, QSPI, and MICROWIRE protocols. The sensor operates within a wide temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, with an accuracy of ±2°C under typical conditions. The device also includes a shutdown mode to conserve power.
