The AD7788ARMZ is a low power, low noise, 16-bit sigma-delta analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from Analog Devices. It features one differential input and operates from a single 2.5V to 5.25V supply. The device includes an internal clock oscillator and a 3-wire serial interface compatible with SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE, and DSP. Key specifications include a typical RMS noise of 1.5 µV, typical integral nonlinearity of 3.5 ppm, and maximum supply current of 75 µA in normal mode, dropping to 1 µA in power-down mode. The ADC is designed for low frequency measurement applications such as smart transmitters, battery-powered instrumentation, sensor measurement, temperature measurement, pressure measurement, and weigh scales. It is housed in a 10-lead MSOP surface-mount package and operates over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
